Does anyone know the best way to upgrade the Apache webserver that vCenter uses?
We recently had a security scan done on our vCenter server and it found version 6 of Apache is installed on that box. vCenter is the only thing using Apache. Is there a way to upgrade just apache as I have the latest vCenter installed?
Documentation anywhere on the procedure?
Thx
it comes together and would not be possible to upgrade. problem you can use security hardening on vcenter? http://communities.vmware.com/servlet/JiveServlet/previewBody/15413-102-2-18829/vSphere%204.1%20Hard...
Ok thanks, that's what I thought. I have already applied the VMware hardening guide to our ESX hosts.
I figured it wasnt possible or recommended to upgrade it since it was bundled but I wanted to check.
Many thanks!
