Upgrade vCSA 6.7 to v7.0.3

Help! I'm trying to do an upgrade of vCSA v6.7 to latest vCSA v7.0.3 and it keeps failing at Stage 2. I get an error as follows:

"The Machine SSL cert in the VECS does not correspond with the service registration in the VM Dir Service(vmdir)."

I've tried the fixes in KB 87712 and 76719 to no avail. I've regenerated all the certs in VCSA cert manager to no avail.

Why is this proving so difficult???  The upgrade should be a lot easier than this.

By the looks of it I can't even restore the Back Up from v6.7 to a new vCenter so what are my options??

Complete fresh install of vCSA and then build Horizon VDI up from scratch?? I bet I can't even import my vDS config settings.

Come on VMWare.......i expect more.

are you sure that all IPs and FQDNs are the same during upgrade to 7.0.3?

Yes, IPs all correct.

i eventually found a python script written by Sudeshna Sakar from Jul 20 that fixed this issue.
