EXACT same log here.  And it left my vCenter Server unusable.

The discussion has been  moved from VMware ESXi 5 to VMware vCenter™ Server.

You might want to check the space for the transaction log file if you're able to run this again.

Make sure that you have enough free space available in transaction log drive and make sure that you followed the best practices: http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/techpaper/vSphere-5-Upgrade-Best-Practices-Guide.pdf
