Upgrade Vmware Vsphere 5.0 to vsphere 5.5

please let me know if anyone upgraded their vsphere from 5.0 to 5.5.

Also i will be thankful if you can share some helpful link regarding the same and steps.

Our upgrade from 5.0 to 5.5 appeared to go well. We did a "simple" upgrade.

After the upgrade we had issues with logging in with domain credentials to the webclient (thick client worked OK). I read some KB's and tried to fix things and made things MUCH MUCH worse.

I ended up calling VMware support and having to do a complete uninstall/reinstall of vCenter.

I firmly believe had I called VMware after I upgraded with the small problem authenticating they would have fixed it and saved me a lot of hassle and reinstallation. Lessons learned.
