Updating Virtual Center 2.5 to 2.5U4

I can't find any documentation no how to do this. I've found how to get from 1x or 2.0 to 2.5 but not how to just move from 2.5 to 2.5u4. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

Not sure if there is a document for 2.5 to 2.5 U?.

Just make sure if you want to use the Performance Overview plugin, you look @ this KB article:

Welcome to the boards. Your best source of documentation is - http://www.vmware.com/support/pubs/vi_pages/vi_pubs_35u2_3i_e.html

But for your question some of your answers might be found on this page - http://www.vmware.com/support/vi3/doc/vi3_vc25u4_rel_notes.html

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Everything you need is in the release notes. There is a specific link for the Upgrade Guide listed there as well.

It basically comes down to: "This release supports upgrading from VirtualCenter 1.4.1, VirtualCenter 2.0.2 (including Update 1, Update 2, Update 3, Update 4, and Update 5), VirtualCenter 2.5, VirtualCenter 2.5 Update 1, or VirtualCenter 2.5 Update 2, or VirtualCenter 2.5 Update 3, to VirtualCenter 2.5 Update 4" - release notes

And "The VMware Infrastructure Management installer detects any previous VirtualCenter release and uninstalls it. After the uninstall, the actual installation of VirtualCenter begins." p.53 of the Upgrade Guide.

Good Luck!
