Update manager not working

I have upgraded my VC from 2.5 to 4.0, after that when i tried to download patches it is showing me site is not connected however only it is connecting to shavlik site but not vmware.

I tried to start update manager service by using AD account but it is returning with error " Service terminated unexpediely", It is working fine with the local system account.

Any specific entry I need to done before starting the service(My id is member of local administrator)

when you upgraded vCenter to 4.0, you also upgraded VUM?

I have upgraded Update manger and now I have reinstaled it with below settings.

Created new database

Rename the installation folder.

Create new directory for patch repository

...and under the Admin View for VUM. Under the configuration tab, what do you have checked for your Patch Download Settings?

.....also for what it's worth, I would just leave the VUM Service set to local system.
