I have just setup Update Manager to download in install my ESX host and guest patches. I test the Critical update remidiation by applying it to a cluster for on of my test cluster objects. Initial install was successful and ESX host in this cluster were shown as compliant. I ran the scan on my developement cluster to find non compliant servers as I expected. When I scheduled the remidaition virtaul center disconnected at my workstation. I checked the server and the VCS svc was down. I restarted the service and all was well. I tried to schedule again with the same results. I can however still schedule remidiations on the test cluster. Has anyone see this?
