Unable to edit/remove folder from "Datastores and Datastore Clusters".

Hi all,

It's a pleasure to joing this community. As my first question I would like to figure out why I'm unable to remove or edit an folder that I created at the "Datastores and Datastore Clusters" view. The only configuration that I did was to configure an permission to "Users" group. After that I'm unable to remove it, even using the Administrator account. Take a look at the screenshot below:

I really apreciatte any help on this.

Hi all,

I figured out what was happening here. I'm using Microsoft Windows 2008 R2 as basic OS for the VMware vCenter Server. On Windows the user "Administrator" is not only from group "Administrators" but also from "Users". For some reason, VMware verify this and for the folder that both permissions are defined, the role "User" overloads "Administrator" (this should be a bug... :smileyconfused:). I changed the group "Users" to not contain user "Administrator" at Windows, and now is working properly.
