Unable to create - template, or clone/migrate VM's from one ESX host to another

Can somebody please help me. I'm not able to create templates, or clone or migrate any virtual machines through my Virtual Center (ver 1.2) There is sufficient disk space (42 GB) to take a template backup of 35 GB. Still Template backup is not happening, I don't get any error message. In the TASKS pane it shows - Command was cancelled.

If I'm trying to CLONE any of my VM to a newly built ESX host I get a message - Failed to get file by Network Copy. Reason 7( Session termination requested -- NfcFile_Receiver: Server cancelled receive.

If I'm trying to MIGRATE, I get error - Failed to get file by Network Copy. Reason 3 (). Sometimes its also showing that it is not able to copy a vmdk file.

I've tried going throough what has been mentioend in other posts, like restart of the VC, configuring the name lookup between the ESX hosts and the VC. But none worked for me. Attached the tasks pane screen shot for your reference.

Any Help will be much appreciated.

Have you checked the permissions on the ESX host?
