The host does not have sufficient memory resources to satisfy the reservation

I am not able to start nested VM, as soon as O clicked on power on it gave to me this window "The host does not have sufficient memory resources to satisfy the reservation" for Primary VM and "Insufficient resources" for secondary VM.

The two Hosts have ESXi 4.1.0 w/3072GB of memory each, and the VM is a Win2003 w/256MB only.

If I turn off FT, the VM can start without error.

Where and how can I fix this issue?

Thanks for your help in advance.

First check how admission control is set:

http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1007006

With only two host you may need to disable it or use a % value.

Then remember that a FT VM need a double value for the vRAM, so you must have enough in your cluster.
