Storage Capacity Issue on upgrading vCenter 6.5 to vCenter 7.0

I have a vCenter appliance with about 250GB Thick provisioned. Now I went through half of upgrading from 6.5 to 7.0, in storage configuration, even 'Tiny' shows 1.5TB required. And the source storage shows as 575GB not 250GB. I have only 1TB left in LUN2.

How can I satisfy the storage requirement? It seems vCenter appliance is installed as Tick provision?

First identify how much space is used in the VCSA for the mount point of the disk using command df -h. Based on the usage, check whether you can deploy it as tiny/small and then proceed to deploy vcsa 7.0 as the respective variant

You can deploy VCSA 7.0 via ovf as Tiny/Small based on the requirements and storage migrations and perform stage 2 from there.

or you might consider shrink the lvm for the excessive sized partition

Note : these can be destructive if not properly performed so ensure to take backups of the VCSA /PSC before trying any of the attempts using the best practices
