I have a problem with my cluster's BMC/IPMI functionality.
I have 13 hosts in 2 clusters, and I want to be able to use DPM in the long run, but for now I'm just interested in powering on the machines via vCenter.
The machines are IBM x3650 and x3550 servers with full IMM license. Im running esxi 4.1 and vcenter 4.1.
I have configured the power management-settings for a couple of servers, but when I shut down a host I dont get the option to start it up again. The "Power on" option is grayed out.
Did I miss something? I havent done this before with my own servers, but I have with some HP blades during VCP training, and it worked like a charm.
