Some guests do not report 'DNS Name' or 'IP Address' in vCenter

From within the vCenter client, if I click on the 'Virtual Machines' tab, approximately 1/3 of all my guests have a blank field for 'DNS Name'. Also, on the Summary page of these same guests, the 'IP address' is blank.

Any ideas as to what might be causing this, and how I can reestablish this information?

it could be refresh issue. Have you tried F5? Also, all your guests in question have the VMware Tools installed and current and are joined to your AD?

Thanks for the response. All points are verified. Refresh, VMware Tools intalled, started and at current levels, and guests are registered in AD.

let's try a couple other things. First would be to restart your vCenter Server Service. Next, is there a pattern, where the guests in question are registered on a particular ESX(i) Host?

I would try to restart the managment agents on the ESX(i) Hosts in question

I'm unable to restart the vCenter service at this point. However, the problem is spread across many different hosts. Doesn't seem to follow any kind of logic.
