Snapshot over the Web access frontend

Hi,

I have upgraded our environment to ESX 3.5 and VC 2.5.

Our Administrators are allowed to work over the Web Access frontend, to manage the servers.

Is it possible to make snapshots over Web Access? I didn't found any informations about this feature.

Have anyone an idea for an solution. Thanks a lot.

I do not think it is possible to take a Snapshot through Web Access - it can be done through the Vi CLient' sanpshot manager -

weinstein5 is correct. You cannot manage/create/delete snapshots through webaccess. You can script the process through the vmware-cmd and vi toolkit. So, you can give the access, and use powershell script to create snapshots, but it's ultimately not a GUI button that you can push as in the vi client. You can also restrict permissions to the vi client, so these admins only see what they have access to. Is there a reason you don't want to give access through the vi client?
