mensa84,

What version of VCSA is this? Have you checked what the logs are complaining when services wont start?

I would file an SR with VMware support on this issue.

It is 6.7.0.40000.

Which logs exactly should I check and where can I find them?

mensa84,

Each of the services has a directory with one or more logs under /var/log/vmware. Try to see what the log files for the services that are not starting are complaining about.

Have you confirmed that NTP is set?

What vHW does your VCSA have? You sayed restores.... by accident do you vHW >10? If so unregister the VM, edit the *.vmx, register VM again and start the VM.

Joerg

Thanks for all your answers but in the meantime I have deleted faulty VCSA and installed a new one.
