Hi everyone,
I've never seen this before but when I try to connect to the VIC with my credentials, I get an error message saying "The server could not interpret the client's request". I have tried cycling the VMware VirtualCenter Server service and also reinstalling the client piece, but I still get this error....
Anyone experienced this before?
Thanks!
Great find. Post back and let us know if all is fixed with the reboot.

Are you sure the client is at the correct version for server? Was this working previously? Is this from the client on the vc host, or a different workstation? Does the client on the vc host work correctly?

Nothing has changed since I was using it this morning, without issues. This error is generated when I try to connect to it from my laptop. When I try to connect directly from the VC host, I get a communication error....
Check the virtual center logs to see if it offers any further help. They are located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\Logs\vpxd-#.log

Will do, thanks.
KjB,
It looks like we may have found the problem. The log shows that resources on the vc server were low (runs other apps too). Have scheduled a reboot to see if they free up.
Thanks for your help.
Great find. Post back and let us know if all is fixed with the reboot.

Yes, the reboot released the resources and now I can connect to the VIC.
Thank you for pointing me to the log files and for all your help, I
appreciate it.
No problem. Don't forget to mark the question as answered.
