Schedule for DRS?

Hi

For a cluster where DRS is enabled, does VMware DRS checks at some regular intervals on a cluster to see if the workloads under different ESX hosts needs to be re-distributed?? Or would the auto-mirgation takes place as soon as DRS thinks that the workload is not evenly distributed among the ESX hosts under the same cluster?

I understood this was every 5 minutes.

It scans the cluster every 5 minutes.

The other thing to note is it will always balance load using CPU utilisation before RAM.
