Schedule Guest shutdown and restart

Does anybody know how can I schedule trhought VC, VM Guest restart and shut down, because I can see only restart VM.

What about via a script\app that runs on the VC server leveraging the windows scheduler? You could look at the SDK and developer doc here for more info: http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/

Perhaps I don't understand your question but through the scheduled task option on VC you can schedule a task to shutdown the guest and then restart. You would need to stagger them so that the startup occurs after shutdown is complete. When I look at the options for changing the power state of a VM I get the options to do the following: Power on, power off, shutdown, suspend or reset.
