Hello, we have two vSphere virtual center that create VM with the same MAC address range,
00:56:b0:00:00 ........ that the other one virtual center ..... so we have to be very carefully for not
duplicate VM with the same mac address...
Could I change the AUTOMATIC range assignment of one of our virtual centers?
Thanks a lot

Edited all caps subject line according to the forum rules, AWo.
the mac address range that you are talking about is the vmware proprietary mac address.
according to my knowledge i dont think we can change these macs, as they are coming from the vmkernel .
So .... If I have more that one virtual center of the same version .... I could have a very very big problems in my network .....is not it???

......no....according to my knowledge the vms will have only the first few hexcodes in common and the vcenter is designed in such a way that no two vms have the same mac
But .... If I move a VM from a Virtual Center to the other .... and If I answer .... "KEEP" .... the VM could have the same MAC address that other in the same virtual center is not it?

For example ....
I have created THE FIRST VM in the first Virtual Center after a fresh installation..... the MAC address is:
00:56:b0:00:00 for the first VM created
and now ..... If I create one VM on the SECOND virtual center ... after a fresh installation ... the MAC address for the first VM is:
00:56:b0:00:00 too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so .... big problem ....
