SSO Issue - gss_acquire_cred failed?

Just had to stand up a fresh VCSA - 5.1 U2.

SSO has been configured to use secure LDAP and works fine in that I can login via the web client or with VI Client using DOMAIN\Username or Username with my domain password.

However if I check the box to "Use Windows Session Credentials" I simply get a "A general system error occurred: gss_acquire_cred failed".

Googling doesn't throw up much - would anyone have any ideas before I log a ticket please?

Thanks

I just had a similar issue and for me it was DNS incorrectly pointing me to the wrong IP address for the VCSA.

We had this problem when moving from a Windows-based installation to an appliance. Are you using the appliance?

Friend, check "Settings" and "Authentication Services" if it is in the domain.
