We have a Vcenter4 database running on SQL 2005
Periodically open transactions for this db stay active for a long time without any sign of activity.
We were told by Vmware support to lower the statistics gathering to level 2, but this won't provide enough monitoring and capacity plannig information
The transaction is being run on database with application name '' by user 'vcenter2' on host ''.

although this transaction seems to be sleeping...stays open..other open transactions in vcenter4 as well....are these supposed to stay open?
