I need to buy a SQL 2005 license for my Virtual Center server.
It's on a physical box, with SQL 2005 Server installed.
What type of license have you all been getting? Proc or CAL?
thanks in advance
Since you don't really need to log in to the server directly, other than troubleshooting. The CAL will do just fine, and will be cheaper.

CAL is definately the way to go, processor license is generally only used when there are many many users accessing it, or when you don't know how many people will access it, like a public website.
