SMTP Alerting - authenticaiton??

I am trying to configure SMTP alerting for the Virtual Center Server,

I have enterted the SMTP server address and senders email address (see attached) under the Virtual Centre setting,and can not see where i should enter the username and password for authenticaiton?

Anyone know where i can do this?

You can't enter them. You have to allow the IP or domain in your SMTP relay server, if necessary.

The exchange server is hosted solution - i think its zimbra..

how would that work?

have you contacted your hosting provider and explaned to them what you would like done?

i'm sure they can whitelist an IP address.
