Running vCenter 4 on Windows 2008 R2 Server

I have just installed the Windows 2008 R2 Server x64, then install the vCenter 4 server; the installation goes fine without any problem. I use the vSphere client (in the local server) and try to login, the error comes out (see below).

Does anyone know how to fix it?

not supported i dont think get same error with vsphere client in windows 7

This is a pretty well known issue with Windows 7 at the moment. I think this is probably the same issue with 2008 R2. There exists no real fix at this time, however the following workaround takes care of the issue for the meanwhile.
