Not sure if this has been asked before, but....
We have four sites all of which need to have the same Windows 2003 template available, currently i update the template in one region and then scp the flat vmdk to the other three sites. The templates are already registered in each site, and this thoery of replicating the vmdk does appear to work.
What I would like to do is set up a method of replication to automatically sync all the templates. I have considered installing rsync on he hosts, but would prefer not to - could I accomplish this by mounting the template location from another linux server and use rsync?
Does anyone else do this, and if so how?
