Remove Virtual Devices en masse

I have several hundred VMs with virtual devices, floppy, CD-ROM, USB, etc. Is there a way to remove them all at once without shutting down the VMs, as opposed to doing them each individually?

Depend what you want to remove, if you want remove vdisk, vNIC SCSI adapter - it's possible to do hot remove but floopy, CDRom you will have to stop VM and remove virtual hardware, I;m not sure about USB devices - but I will check it tomorrow and let you know
