Reduce size of VMDK file

Hello all, I have a VM that has just had a disk increased from 150Gb to 250Gb in retrospect it has been seen that this is not best way to achieve the aim. I haven't yet used diskpart or anything to increase the partition via Windows. Is there a way to reduce this disk back down to 150Gb again.

Only way I can think of is using converter... or

Create another disk and use some type of disk cloning software.
