Ram for vmware Data Recovery

Hi,

i am an absolute newbie for vcenter and installed yesterday data recovery. now i see that data recovery is using 2 GB RAM. Is it possible to decrease that? i have only 6 GB per blade (2) and if i can´t decrease it would be to sparse.

thanks for your help

Try to do so!

Create some jobs and look at the performance of the vm!

hi,

what could happen? Is it possible that backup-jobs will not be finished? Where can the performance go down? For what do i need much performance? for backupjobs? is that really important?

where can i see how much it needs really?

bye

Leave it with 2GB, perform some backups and look at the RAM the machine take, to see if 2GB is really neeeded!!!
