Problems With Cloning and Sysprep

Can anyone tell me the proper version of sysprep to use with Windows 2003 Standard R2 SP2 x64? I think I've about tried every version I can find. I'm using Virtual Center 4.0, and I place the sysprep files in the 2003-x64 directory, but every time I clone the system in question I get the following log output?

Customization in progress set to 1 at 2010-Nov-02 15:05:03

Rpci: Sent request='deployPkg.update.state 4 100 C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\vmware-imc\guestcust.log@deploy doesn't contain known sysprep files.', reply='', len=0, status=1

I've read everything I can find on the topic, but nothing is getting me closer to the solution, by everything I've read it should be working, but it is not... What am I missing?

You can download the file here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=C2684C95-6864-4091-BC9A-52AEC5491AF7&dis...

Save the file to this location:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\sysprep\svr2003-64

Open a CMD window and change to the above folder. Then run this command to extract all the files:

WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB926028-v3-x64-ENU.exe /x

When the files are extracted, there will be a new sub-folder created: SP2QFE. It's here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\sysprep\svr2003-64\SP2QFE

Double click deploy.cab in that folder. Highlight all the files, right click them and select Extract.

For the Destination, navigate to:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\sysprep\svr2003-64

Hopefully you can customize your settings after that.

The deploy.cab file is also available in the first installation CD.
