Problem with VCenter 2.x and VUM

I use VCenter 2.5.0 Build 84767 on W2003 SP2 together with the Update Manager.

The VUM is set to get the latest Updates from VMware every night.

It seems that VUM is running but I only get the updates up to ESX350-200805515-SG.

As I see on the download patch site from VMware, there should be updates from

ESX350-200806401 to ...405 but these are missing.

I also can start VUM to get the updates once and immediately - but the same problem.

The file C:\Programme\VMware\Download\Data\hostupdate\update_metadata.xml is actual of its date and time.

Anyone seen this problem with VUM? I have this problem on two productive systems at different locations.

I've checked the internet access -> ok. Also nothing in the event log.

Check your baseline, and make sure you don't have any patches excluded.

Are you using a proxy to get to the internet?

Yes I'm using a proxy to go to the internet.

But also my Browser is set to go over the proxy.

Does your proxy do an integrated virus scan? Mine does, and it was slowing the download past the timeout, so I was not getting new patches. I went into the vci-integrity.xml file, and modified the recvTimeout from 6000 to 60000. This allowed me to download successfully.
