Hello, I have VC 4.1.0 connected to AD. I got problems with plugins (hardware status, service status and licensing reporting manager), but I solved. When I am trying to access vCenter Service Status I got info that CANNOT ACCESS THE HEALTH SERVICE. I read everything on knowledge base, communities and other sites, but it is still not working. Custom SSL cert is working fine (done with OpenSSL 0.9.8r). I checked logs and I have some strange info: tomcat/catalina log: 2011-04-13 13:22:01 org.apache.catalina.startup.Catalina start INFO: Server startup in 20162 ms 2011-04-13 13:43:04 post here a model of server. Maybe you need upgrade bios.
You just reboot a server ?
Hello,
1st link was not helpful at all.
2nd link I will check at work.
This VC is virtual machine - w2k8 R2.

Hello,
both links were not helpful. I am attaching actual logs - please look at the attachment.
Maybe it is JAVA problem? I found a lot of things related to JAVA in attached logs. My version is:

If you have custom certificates (not self signed), the PFX file must be protected with the password "testpassword".
This KB details how to do it
kb also says you could just alter the password in some xml file...
That did not work for me.
DyJohnnY,
thanks, but as I said before my PFX is working OK.
Effects are still the same - cannot connect to the health service. Entries in logs files are the same.
Any other solutions?
