Problem downloading a folder to my local machine from vcenter

Quote Modify Remove

I am trying to download a folder to my local machine. When I do it from the host I have no issue. But when I try to download a folder to my local machine from Vcenter I can't get connected. I get an arror cant connect to NCF server. I had my vpn checked and all ports are open. I made sure 901,902,903 are open as well.

Any idea why I can't download to my local machine when trying from VC but can when I connect to the hosts?

Ok, used putty to ssh into one of the hosts. I ran vi conf

The only output I had was

~

~

~
~
~
~

This was host1 I have no problem downloading from the 4 hosts. I just cant from the vcenter console. Dont know if that helps?

Figured it out, my laptop uses a different DNS then then VC so I could not get DNS to work with the hosts names. I put the hosts and ip in my laptops

host file and it works properly now.
