Hi all,
Firstly, apologies for my first post being a question. I have a 5 node ESX HA & DRS Cluster, the first node in the cluster, Node1, was removed from the cluster and was rebuilt as another server. Since then the remaning 4 servers in the existing cluster are having issues when being configured for HA as they can no longer find the primary server. To rectify this issue, do I have to
a. Create a new HA/DRS cluster and migrate the 4 remaining nodes into it so that one become the new primary server,
or
b. Is there a way that I can promote one of the remaining 4 servers to the primary server so that the rest can use it when being configured for HA.
I've tried rebooting each individual ESX server in the hope that one will become a primary with no joy. Any help is appreciated.
