Power-On ESXi host

Hi everyone,

I was wondering, is there a way to power on an ESXi host from vCenter?

I have a test environment with one host connected to my vCenter, I have turned off the ESXi host and tried to power on from vCenter but the option is grayed out.

I'm not 100% sure because I cannot access my test environment at the moment. However I guess an option to power on a hosts is only available with the Enterprise Plus edition (or in evaluation mode) when DRS and DPM (Distributed Power Management) are configured. What this does is basically trying to power on the host, using WOL (Wake on LAN)

My test enviornment is in evaluation mode with all options avaliable.

I'll check about DPM and DRS and let you know.

Thanks.
