When using VIM you can create the following logical structure
Server
Resource Pool 1
VM 1
VM 2
Resource Pool 2
VM 3
VM 4
Where the different VM take their settings from the Resource Pool that they are placed under.
When trying to add permissions the structure looks like this
Server
Resource Pool 1
VM 1
VM 2
Resource Pool 2
VM 3
VM 4
Where all the resource pools and VM are defined at the same level. This means that you can not grant permissions at the resource pool level to allow someone to only create VMs under that Resource Pool. Instead a person ends up with rights across all the pools and VMs.
Can anyone put forward a work around for this?
