We have virtual center 2.5U6 with performance chart plugin enabled, when performing an overview of a particular esx host shows the memory usage on those graphs was well over 100% in percentage. I would just like to get clarification how this graph in percentage works, see attached sample.

That looks like the virtual machine view of the chart meaning each color represents a particular virtual machine. My guess is they show it in that manner to show the memory usage in relation to other VM's memory usage. That way you can easily spot the VM that was using a bulk of the memory during that time frame. Just a guess though.

Thanks...that's what I have thought and true each colour is representing a VM memory usage. Can't find any useful document about Performance Chart plugin, all I get is installation steps...
