Pairing an ESX host to VC involving NAT

Currently have a VirtualCenter trial running on a public IP and I am trying to get an ESX server that is behind NAT to pair up. I translated ports 902, 443, and 22 but it could not contact the ESX host. Port 22 may not have translated correctly since a different host had previously had the translation. My question is what ports do I need open and working for Virtual Center to talk to ESX appropriately on a permenent basis? 902, 443, 22, 80? Are there more?

Hi Andrew,

I am running into this issue as well. I have an ESXi server with VC inside of a NAT and then another ESXi server on the public internet. I cannot get the VC inside of the NAT to manage the ESXi server for more than 30 seconds and then the public ESXi server goes into a 'not responding' state within VC.

I hope someone can help.

Thanks,

Chris
