Last week we had a failure on the vCenter database. This caused vCenter to be offline for a wee while.
A day later we noticed that some hosts were out of sync with the vDS. We tried the recommendations in the VMware KB addressing a similar issue zbut no luck so far.
Also opened an SR but VMware has not come up with correct solution just yet either.
We also noticed that we can a new host to vDS but it will not allow us to add new vmkernel to that host. VLAN ID do not appear on vDS any longer as well. Networking appears to be not affected.
It only seems to affect one vDS in the vCenter instance. Any thoughts?
