Orphaned Machines in VC not on Host

Afternoon Folks,

We've recently had to perform a restore of the VC database using a two week old backup and are trying to tidy up the aftermath.  In the two weeks since the backup we've carried out a number of deletions which are now showing up as ophaned in the VC.  In trying to remove them I'm continually getting time out errors and strangely, in most cases, they dont acutally appear on my host.  Can anyone tell us how we might get around this; I've taken one of the hosts and disconnected/reconnected as well as restarting the mgmt agents but to no avail.  Grateful for any advice!

Thanks,

Chris
