We are actually planning to link 4 vCenter to our main vCenter. The Port 389 is open to all vCenter for Linked Mode.
From my main vCenter I can not connect directly to the ESX from the other vCenter because Firewall limitations.
If I link the vCenter I should have a global view over all objects. (vCenter-ESX-VMs)
My question is:
Can I open a VM Console (VM from linked vCenter) directly from my VI Client connected to my main vCenter?
Or do I need open all necessary ports (902,903) between remote ESX and my main vCenter?
