Old Sessions

Anyone else see really old sessions in the vSphere client?  There are so many connections, even my own not too mention other admins' connections...  I have some in there over 30 days old.  Does vCenter just not clean up sessions properly?

I'm running 5.0 Update 2.

no.. vCenter will not drop idle sessions on it's own.  You can use scripts to do this, but nothing built in to vCenter itself that drops these connections.

what do you mean by old sessions? Idle sessions need to be manually dropped if you want those connections released.  There have been times when user/service account logs off vCenter and that session doesn't clear, but for the most part the sessions clear themselves when the session closed by the user/service account.

Right, idle sessions.  So vCenter doesn't disconnect them after a certain amount of time?
