Not sure if I should have more than one VC

Ok so here is the scinerio, We have been bought out and the company that did this has 2 esx servers managed by vc 2.0. We have 10 esx servers on vc 2.0 patch 2. They are in NY adn we are in Boston. the connectino is very good between the 2 locations. Can I get rid of there VC adn just add there hosts to my VC? What would be the issues with doing this (performance, etc)

This should be OK, there have been several posts about VC performance over the WAN, the remote console might be a little slow and you might see some occasional dropped connections but it should work just fine especially if you have a fast connection between the two sites.

I will agree with siebert. You can make it with your WAN.

There is not much performance needed to keep them in a VC Cluster.

Btw its not possible to have a esx server managed by two VC server.

Yes I knew that I either needed one vc or I would have kept the 2 but this will be alot easier
