No more VMotion after upgrading hardware VM

Hi,

We have successfully upgraded all our VMWare servers to ESX4.0 build 175625 (cluster 1) and ESX4i build 181792 (cluster 2). At this moment we are upgrading all our VM's their VMWare Tools and VM Hardware.

Everything runs well and more and more VM's turn green in the update manager stating the VM is perfectly up to date and fine, BUT... all the VM's that are currently upgraded can't be VMotioned to anoter host! When trying to migrate an VM to another host it say:

Host CPU is incompatible with the viritual machine's requirements at CPUID level 0x1 register 'ecx':

Host bits : 0000:0000:0000:1000:0010:0010:0000:0001

Required: 1000:0000:0000:100x:xxxx0:0x1x:xxx0:x001

Why is this all of a sudden? I hope i do not have to change all the host masks for all my VM's now?

Looks exactly like our problem.

Is this an known issue? I can't believe this should be normal behaviour.
