No connection vc-client to vCenter Server Appliance possible

Hi,

after restart of the VCSA I can`t connect with the vc-client to the VCSA. When I connet over the GUI, I have no entries in the vCenter Server, Services and Authentication window. Only in the Network, System and Update window are entries.

What could be the reason or witch logfile I could check?

Best Regards

Bernd

Hi Abhilash,

The first screenshot is the normal one, the System window, with entries. The other 3 are white, without entries.

@ William22

It is a vCenter Server Appliance 5.0, and how can I run the resource browser

Bernd

Bernd,

Have you tried opening it in different browsers? If you open it in different browser and it still doesn't work can you do a reboot on the system tab and check(Not hard reset)?

Let me know what happens.

Abhilash,

I opened it in the Internet Explorer, and there it was OK. In vCenter window is the service stopped, start the service gives the error "Error: VC failed to start". After a reboot it is the same situation. What is wrong?

Thanks for your help!

Bernd
