Network adapter for vCenter Server ?

Hi guys,

I just installed vCenter from VCSA wizard but I have a question about the network adapter I can use for the VCSA VM.

I have a network port group named VLAN-Gestion I use for the managment of my ESXi hosts. But I want to use this interface (implied this VLAN) as the administration interface of vCenter. But I can't see it in the list of network adapter in VM configuration panel.

It is possible to use the same network interface vor vcsa and esxi host ? Is there any specific configuration to use on network config ?

Thanks

Louis

yes, you can segregate the traffic from other traffics.

dedicate a vswitch and vmnic ,  create vm port group and associate your management VLAN to it. so all the vCenter<-> hosts traffic can use it.
