Netapp thin provisioned disks inconsistent

We have several NFS datastores that we have spread between two Datacenters in our vCenter 4.1 update 1 environment.  On one datacenter, a datastore says "1.1 TB provisioned" -- In our other datastore, the EXACT same NFS datastore says "550 GB provisioned" -

Is this inconsistency because they are the same datastore presented to two different datacenter or are we missing something?

Is there a reason to keep everything in one datacenter despite one cluster being IBM x3850 XEONs and the other HP G7 Nahalem blades?

Hello.

Is this inconsistency because they are the same datastore presented to two different datacenter or are we missing something?

I would think that the datacenter will only report for the VMs it has provisioned on the datastore.

You can have the two clusters in one datacenter without issue.  Were you just trying to logically separate or what?

Good Luck!

Yes, our other system admin just created a new datacenter to seperate our older IBM equipment with the new HP Blades.

I am guessing since we have live VMs on that new datacenter, we'd have to shut everything down and manually migrate it back to a new cluster in the original datacenter right?

Do you think the provisioning is showing different values because of the split datacenters?

Deleted second datacenter and migrated everything into clusters under the same datacenter and that seems like the best, logical choice.  Thanks for your help.
