Moving hosts into a Cluster

We have a Virtual Center environment that already has the two of our VMware hosts listed in a Datacenter.

We wanted to start using DRS / HA and I was wondering if I could move them into the cluster safely by dragging them or would I have to disconnect them and them readd them to the cluster.

Hello,

You can drag them in. You will have some options around resource pools if you have them but it should be pretty straight forward. The agent installs will get triggered automatically when you drop the hosts on the cluster.

You do have to put a host into maintenance mode to move it out of a cluster once it is in a cluster.
