Moved vCenter to new hardware, but vSphere client still showing old server name

I run vCenter 4.1 Update 1. I was running it on a Win2008 R2 VM (using a SQL DB on a separate, physical machine). I migrated vCenter to an actual physical box. That all seemed to go OK - the new vCenter (different name, different IP) knows all about my 6 ESX 4.1 U1 servers and all my VMs. I did have to re-connect the ESX servers, but no big deal.

Here's my question - when I start the vSphere client, it shows the *old* vCenter name, follwed by the *new* vCenter name, By which I mean - the level about the datacenter has the old vCenter server name, then the datacenter, then the cluster name. In the main part of the window, it says "old server name FQDN, new server name (short name)  VMware vCenter Server, 4.1.0, 345043".

1. What is that level called? It's not the datacenter, it's above that.

2. Can I just right click on that and rename it? For example, rename it form the FQDN of the old server name (which is what is showing now) to my company name?

Sorry for the silly question.

Those were the directions I followed, yes. But they don't seem to have any information on why the name is shown differently, or how to resolve it.
