Mixing license types in the same cluster

Can I mix license types in the same cluster? To explain a little further I have a two node cluster running vsphere 4.1. Enterprise and I am purchasing an additional server and was hoping to purchase enterprise plus. I know I will be unable to use the additional features which is not a problem as my plan is to upgrade the two enterprise servers when more funds become available.

Secondly the original servers have Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU    E7540 and the new server has Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU    E7540 are these compatible for vmotion?

If you are aware about the difference in the features available in the two license versions then its fine, regarding the processors refer to http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1003212.
