Mix licenses with 1 license server

Hi,

Is it possible to mix licenses (standard and starter edition) with 1 license server? In other words, any way to control which server uses which license?

Yes, just put all of your licenses in your license server license file, then when you license the host under 'configuration->licensed features' tick Starter on one host and Standard on the other - there are seperate check boxes for each.

Yes, this is very doable. We have a mix of starter and standard licesnes as well as Enterprise features and have no issues.

You can mix them and using the Optional file of FlexLM you can even limit which hosts can have which types of licenses. You will need to get the information on limiting licenses from Macrovision and VMware. I could not find the proper documentation on the Macrovision site but it exists.
